The Canada Post (CPC) strike has ended, and we wanted to provide you with more information about what this will look like for the affected packages moving forward.
Canada Post has informed us that they plan to implement a 'First in, first out' process for parcels. This means that parcels that arrived at their facilities before the strike started will be delivered first, and those that are just arriving at their facilities now will be delivered last. It is anticipated that it will take a few weeks to get through their whole backlog.
Once more information has been provided to Passport from Canada Post, we will update our tracking pages to reflect an estimated delivery date. Canada Post will also update this information on their tracking page as these packages are processed.
We recommend informing your customers of potential delays to set expectations accordingly. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team. We're happy to help!
